The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho
I picked up the same book twice, nice years across, in two different languages, without realizing that they are the same before I read them. The title is just translated too differently. I didn't think much the first time I read it. I was still middle school, and it all sounded too distant to me. But now I see this as an omen for me, especially at a time after Suzumiya Haruhi and Miku burst on Nico, both of which prompted me to start trying: to do things that I want to do, rather than just sit there and dream emptily.
